12-16 May 2025, the International Relations Unit organized the 3rd International Staff Training Week (ESOGU ISTW 2025) program within the scope of the Erasmus+ICM partnership between Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi and AASTMT, our university hosted respected academics from various countries.
In this context, Prof. Mazhar AL-Zoubi at the Faculty of Medicine of Yarmouk University from Jordan, Dr. Iyad Abu doush a faculty member of the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at the American University of Kuwait from Kuwait, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tillayev Sanjar Usmonovich from Samarkand Develet University, SamSU Biochemistry Institute from Uzbekistan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurcan Deniz and PhD student Manal Hamid from our university, visited ESTEM and MicroStemTissue Research Group. Detailed information was given to them about the advanced laboratory infrastructure, ongoing projects, research areas and scientific goals of our center and working groups.
Within the scope of the visit, pioneering studies on regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, organ-on-a-chip technologies and stem cell-based treatment approaches were conveyed. In addition, views were exchanged on possible academic and scientific cooperation opportunities.
We expect that this valuable meeting will make significant contributions to the goals of strengthening scientific collaborations and expanding academic networks within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.
